Drivers Licenses (when hiring vehicles)
Driver’s license must be valid for the period of rental and must be in English. Probationary licences are not acceptable nor are photocopies. In case of international renters, we strongly recommend that the country of origin licence is accompanied by an international driver's permit. All drivers must present their license for sighting when signing rental agreements for the vehicle. A valid, non-provisional, Australian driving licence is required.
Please note all supply companies may void your insurance claim if they indicate driver abuse of the vehicle. Please note all supply companies from time to time will change the accessibility to certain 4WD gazetted roads, due to unforseen weather conditions, State emergencies or other necessary reasons.
Minimum Age (when hiring vehicles)
All drivers must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible (certain car hire companies require drivers to be a minium age of 25) to rent or hire a vehicle (sports cars excluded).

You enter into a contract directly with the car rental company.
- All additional cost to the rental charge (such as airport levies, excess insurance, registration fees) is to be paid by you directly to the car rental company when collecting the vehicle.
- The information, which we present, is supplied to us by individual car rental companies and is always subject to change without notice, therefore we cannot accept responsibility for any changes beyond our control.
- Upon collection of your vehicle you enter into a direct contract with the car rental company and in the event of any issues, problems, queries, concerns or complaints they should be directed directly to the car rental company with whom you enter into a contract.
- All vehicle descriptions, images and representations are indicative only and are subject to change and availability without notice.
- Car companies reserve the right to substitute a vehicle based on availability and no claim shall be made in respect to the exercise of the discretion of the car rental company substituting such vehicle.
- The customer takes full responsibility for the choice and selection of the vehicle, which is being reserved, including the suitability of the purpose for which it is being rented.
- You are responsible for deciding if the vehicle is large enough to fit the proposed number of passengers and the appropriate amount of luggage.
All vehicles and all offers are subject to availability and all information including prices is correct, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of publication.

- Provides a car rental quotation in the currency of the country of rental.
- On your behalf makes a rental reservation with the car rental company and confirms all such reservations with you.
- Requires a deposit followed by full payment from you to confirm your car rental reservation.
YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CAR RENTAL COMPANY:
- You enter into a contract directly with the car rental company.
- Any charges additional to the rental charge is to be paid by you directly to the car rental company when collecting the vehicle.
- Unless otherwise stated, the car rental quotation includes all local taxes and charges.
Agreement with Car Rental Company:
- You will be requested to sign an agreement with a car rental company when collecting your car and it is your responsibility to ensure that the rental details on such agreement accord with the rental documentation supplied by us to you.
- You are responsible for any additional purchases debited to your credit card after the rental agreement with the local supplied has been supplied.
Car Rental, Tours and Accommodation Documents:

- Will provide confirmation of your car rental, tour and accommodation reservation. This documentation must be retained and presented to the car rental company, tour operator and accommodation provider upon collection of the vehicle or check in.
- Will not be responsible for car rentals, accommodation and tour services not provided upon the basis of the non-presentation of the documentation supplied.
Modification of booking:
- Changing your booking details may incur extra charges.
- You may extend your booking by having additional days added to your stay and car rental. To obtain the same rate for accommodation and car rental reservations they must be arranged by us, not through the car rental company or accommodation provider.
- There will be no refund allowable in respect to modifications of bookings, even where a total balance would otherwise be less than the original booking cost.
- In the event that a booking modification results in a higher total balance payable then you are to pay an additional deposit and final payment to us, being the difference between the original deposit and final payment and the new deposit and final payment.
Right of car rental company to refuse to provide car for rental:
All of the car rental companies reserve the right to decline to provide a vehicle to any customer who is, in their opinion, unfit to drive, or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances, your contract with us will terminate immediately and we will have no further liability to you, nor will you be entitled to a refund of any part of your deposit.
Suitability of rental car:
- All vehicle descriptions, images and representations are indicative only and are subject to change and availability without notice.
- Car rental companies’ reserve the right to substitute a vehicle based on availability and no claim shall be made in respect to the exercise of the discretion of a car rental company substituting such vehicle.
